Announcement from Monte Negro
After much deliberation, we have decided to officially end Monte Negro and the band will make no further new recordings or perform live. We say goodbye to our fans and to each other with a deep feeling of gratitude for the grand adventure we have been privileged to enjoy for the last 12+ years. We hope those of you who have shared and connected with Monte Negro's intense and incredible career can understand how we feel that it is best to preserve all that is special, beautiful, and mystical about the band. We will never be able to sufficiently express our love and respect to each and every one of our dedicated fans and admirers. You are all the reasons why our art and music will last forever.
Kinski and Rodax will continue touring and recording with a their new project called GALLO and will release a new record with several guest musicians from around the world later this year.

Jason will pursue an intense study of flamenco guitar in the caves of Sacromonte with some of the top guitarists in Spain.
